60.2.12 Customizing the Presentation
60.2.12.1. Sorting of Scrambling Codes
You can sort scrambling codes in scanning information elements in a number of different ways. The sorting order is set in the General window.
Open the General window from the Navigator.
Double-click the item "WCDMA".
A dialog appears with these sorting options:
Sort by decreasing aggregate Ec/I0 (default)
Sort by increasing aggregate Ec/I0
Sort by fixed position: Scrambling codes are sorted by index and are always assigned the same argument indices, that is, scrambling code n is always found at argument index n + 1.
Sort by scrambling code: Scrambling codes are sorted by index; the code with the lowest index appears at argument index 1, the code with the next higher index appears at argument index 2, etc.
Note: The sorting order of the "Sc Best" elements is fixed and is not affected by the General window settings. |
60.2.12.2. Presenting Scrambling Codes from Multiple UARFCNs
In the "Sc Best" information elements, all scrambling codes found on all UMTS frequencies are collected in a single array. These elements are sorted by signal strength (aggregate Ec/I0) in descending order, and this sorting order is unchangeable.
Use these elements in order to view scan data from several UARFCNs in one window.
