77. Key Performance Indicators – KPIs

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are offered in TEMS products for measuring the user-perceived performance of various circuit-switched and packet-switched services.

All data needed for KPIs computation is recorded in TEMS Investigation logfiles. Explicit generation of KPIs can be done in one of the following ways:

By generating a KPI report in TEMS Investigation.

By using the KPI reporting facilities in TEMS Discovery. For details on this, please consult the TEMS Discovery Device documentation.

The present chapter gives a general discussion of KPIs as well as an overview of how to obtain them with TEMS products. Listings and brief definitions of the KPIs are found in the Technical Reference, chapter "KPI Definitions". Further details on technical matters are given in the document "KPI Definitions in TEMS Products", which is found in the TEMS Investigation documentation package.
