4.2 Service Configuration
Service configuration window will be displayed automatically if services are not configured correctly. All servers are required to have static IP address with ports configured made open through firewall. Please ensure that TEMS Discovery is ran as ‘Administrator’ before further changes are made.
• Provide a username and password to run the services
• Provide HTTP port for client triggered report execution on Server machine is required
• Select ‘Database Management Service’ from the drop-down list, type in server machine IP address and port number with number of import threads set to 0.
• Select ‘Data Processor Service’ from the drop-down list, type in server machine IP address, port number and number of concurrent data import threads (by default use 50% of total available system threads, number of threads can’t exceed 40). Please ensure that minimum of 20 consecutive ports counting from ‘Data Processor Service’ port number are opened through firewall.
• Click ‘Save’ so save the configuration.
